SCI were approached by the client and the interior design company Wowhaus to design the principal and secondary kitchen areas of this fabulous bespoke Queen Anne style home.
The client was underwhelmed by what was on offer and was looking for something very special. We developed some ideas and concepts and listened carefully to the way the kitchen needed to function. This presented challenges with storage. We incorporated full-height pocket door systems to reveal extra worktop space with some of the appliances being hidden away. Complex doors with antique mirror and gloss lacquers hid extra storage. Liquid metal was used as a detail within the doors with bespoke handles. A separate curved seating area was designed to finish off the space.
